MAKE A GIFT
The African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) invites your support in helping us to facilitate our annual AAFCA College Boot Camps. Since 2010, AAFCA has produced academic programs for college students to fulfill our primary mission to support the next generation of Black entertainment journalists. AAFCA Boot Camps are daylong programs for third and fourth year college students. The day includes “TED” styled motivational talks along with real world exercises designed to prepare our participants for the highly competitive entertainment media workplace. Currently AAFCA’s Boot Camps literally crisscross America with programs on four college campuses: Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta; Howard University in Washington DC; Columbia College in Chicago and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Whatever you can afford will represent a generous donation to offset a portion of the annual operating costs associated with this program. Any amount – large or small will go a long way towards our mission of positively impacting the next generation of voices that will tell our stories and cover our community. Donations can be made online at www.aafca.com. Just click on the donate button below to contribute via secure credit card payment.
