Year sixth of AAFCA’s Summer Screening Series will continue our tradition of showcasing timeless films that illuminated the African American experience by turning the spotlight on hip-hop cinema. Hip-hop has shaped the voice of an entire generation and the films selected as part of our 2023 screening program will speak to their demand to see their stories reflected in the movies.
